Private tutor in Baton Rouge, LA
Education
M.A., Spanish, Baylor University, 2010 (GPA: 3.79) B.A., Spanish/History minor, Baylor University, 2007 (GPA: 3.90)
Experience
I am a former Spanish and ESL educator with experience at working with students in the middle and high school and collegiate levels. I have been a private tutor for several years as well. I speak, read, and write Spanish fluently, and work with students at the undergraduate and graduate levels to improve their writing. I scored a 5 on the AP US History test, and a 4 on the AP English Literature test. I have traveled repeatedly to Mexico, and have worked with children in Ciudad Juárez. I graduated Magna cum Laude from Baylor University in 3.5 years, and I am a member of Phi Beta Kappa. I love working with students one-on-one and in small groups, and I live for the moment when a student truly understands something they had previously struggled with.
