I am a current honors biology major sophomore (academic junior) at LSU. I graduated from Baton Rouge Magnet High School, one of the top high schools in both Louisiana and the United States of America. I tutored for the National Honors Society in High School in various subjects including biology, history, and geography. During my freshman year of college, I passed the audition and did some training to become an ACT tutor at the Princeton Review. However, I did not work for them because my class schedule conflicted with their working hours. I have tutored freelance in the past in subjects such as US/World history, biology, world geography, ACT, SAT, and basic sciences and maths. I mainly tutored high school students but I believe I am qualified to teach many freshman and sophomore students at universities since I passed all of my classes with A's in any of the subjects I'm offering to teach. I understand the frustrations of learning a student can experience all too well and therefore I like to offer the personalized education a student needs but cannot get in a traditional classroom. I believe my style of focusing on how each individual student learns best and teaching them in that manner really helps the student receive the amount of attention their education deserves and I think that helps put them on the right track to success. I scored a 34 on the ACT with a perfect on Reading and Science.
