Experience
I am currently a 2nd grade teacher who teaches all four core subjects (English, Math, Social Studies and Science) I understand that every person has a learning style, so I teach to the individual style of learning. I really enjoy teaching phonics, grammar, reading skills along with math skills. I also gave a year of service for the Americorps program City Year where I tutored and supported 7th grade English classes at Broadmoor Middle School in Baton Rouge, LA. I love working with children witnessing the comprehension and success when I’m teaching them. It's very rewarding working with children because they keep you young and keen.
